Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide a positive, developmental and competitive soccer program for players within, but not limited to, the North Scott School District.
Our charter is to administer programs of education and instruction emphasizing soccer skills, knowledge of the soccer laws, and promoting an appreciation for the game in accordance with the high standards of good sporting conduct and fair play.
We strive to continuously improve the caliber of our training, coaching, equipment, and playing fields by fostering community pride and strong relationships with the North Scott School District, and surrounding areas, local government, organization and businesses.
Who are we?
The North Scott Soccer Club teams are coached by High School coaches, former college players, and parents. All head coaches are paid, and we match up their experience with teams as best as possible. The North Scott Soccer Club Board makes resources available to assist and educate our coaches. The Club encourages and pays for our coaches to become licensed through the Iowa Soccer Association. Our Directors of Coaching work with coaches to develop practice plans and methods to best teach the game of soccer.
Teams at all ages are formed on a demand basis. Players are welcome from the North Scott community as well as other communities in Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois. If we have enough players for one or more teams at a given age level we will try to field as many teams as our numbers allow. Fielding multiple teams requires more volunteer coaches and the lack of a coach may preclude multiple teams in an age bracket.

For ages U8 through U10, the Iowa Soccer Association does not allow tryouts. For those ages teams will be formed at the discretion of the North Scott Soccer Club Board depending on available players and coaches. For ages U11 and above, tryouts are permitted, and the coaches, with Board approval, select the players for each team after completion of the tryout process.
