Academy soccer is for players in kindergarten and first grade, depending on their birth year. Instructional coaching teaches soccer basics, proper technique and ball handling skills. Games are played 4 vs 4
COMPETITIVE
Competitive teams are offered for ages 8U-17U. League games through ILLOWA or ISL are included with club fees. An additional 1-3 tournaments are offered for teams 9U and above.
SKILL SESSIONS
Winter skill sessions are offered to all players 8U and up. These are coached under NSSC Coaching Director. Goalkeeper sessions are offered at various times throughout the year.
TRYOUTS
For ages U11 and above, tryouts are permitted. Coaches and Board select the players for each team after completion of the tryout process. All other teams are formed at the discretion of the NSSC Board.
